New Car Security Ratings (NCSR)

A set of ratings based on research carried out by Thatcham, and publishes as two sets of figures: the theft of and theft from a car. The first test assesses the effectiveness of the immobiliser, whilst the second investigates the security of the locks. The higher the figure out of five, the more secure the car.
