Insurance

There are three major levels of car insurance cover available:

• Third-Party: only covers damage to the other person's vehicle or property
• Third Party, Fire and Theft: offers third party cover in addition to cover if the insured car is stolen or damaged in a fire.
• Fully Comprehensive: offers protection for accidental damage, theft, fire damage as well as liability towards third parties.

By law, every car in the UK must be insured to at least third party level if it is to be driven or parked on the road.
