Handling

A general term covering the aspects of a car's behaviour that are related to its directional control. It describes how much the car leans when travelling through a corner, how much traction it has, and how the steering feels in the driver's hands.

In an ideal world, a car's handling should be neutral. However, most tend to oversteer (loss of rear-end traction ) or understeer (loss of front-end traction ) depending on their weight distribution and which wheels are driven.
