Fastback

A style of car that has a continuous slope from the roof to the rear bumper as opposed to a drop in the line for a near-vertical rear window. The rear window slope follows the unbroken roof line and is often at less than a 45 degree angle. Unlike the hatchback, a fastback car has a fixed rear window and a boot that is separated from the passenger cabin by a bulkhead.
