Engine Capacity

The total volume of all the cylinders in a car's engine expressed in cubic centimetres (cc) or litres. For example, an engine with a capacity of 1229 cc will be referred to as a 1.2-litre unit.

In general, the higher an engine's capacity, the greater its performance.
