CNG (Compressed Natural Gas)

A fuel made by compressing purified natural gas, CNG powered vehicles are more fuel efficient, emit fewer toxic chemicals and operate more quietly than conventional cars.

However, CNG takes up four times the space of petrol to provide the same amount of energy, and there are currently very few filling stations in the UK that sell this type of fuel.
