Build Quality

A term that refers to the standard of a car's construction. In general, well built cars feel and look very solid and use high-grade materials inside and out. There are however, always exceptions to this rule; some cars may be well built and long-lasting, even though some of their trim materials may look cheap.

The build quality may also be judged from the close fit and neatness of body panels and the evenness of the gaps between them. The more regular and tighter, the better the build.
