Overview
The Renault Sport Spider is a roadster that was produced by the French automaker Renault Sport (a subsidiary of Renault) between 1995 and 1997.
The Spider was intended to both serve as a racing car, in a one-make series organized by Renault, and as a road car. A concept version was presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in 1995. The concept featured several differences to the version that ultimately became the road car, most notably gull-wing doors and the absence of a windshield.
